Cassandra Merwood is a dancer,    instructor and up and coming choreographer with a vast love for dance. She began formal training at 12 years old with jazz, ballet, tap and more, which led to competing in eisteddfods and a variety of performances throughout Queensland. At 16 she found a new passion for urban/hip hop styles whilst beginning her career as a professional commercial dancer within the corporate industry with credits including Myer, Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian, Nathaniel and Hermitude.

Cassandra’s transition to Sydney at 19 was an exciting time resulting in signing to Focus Talent Management alongside teaching adults and kids weekly around Sydney. She believes in continuously growing as an artist in order to become as versatile as possible and in 2016 studied via Show Business (mentored by Marko Panzic) which resulted in working for The Dream Dance Company, DUTI Company and annually training overseas. Cassandra recently began establishing herself as a working choreographer; adding ABC, Harvey Norman and labels such as Rachel Disalvo and Sashed to her credits. Through the process of her career she hopes to inspire and spread her love for dance to make a positive impact.
